      Description

      Valiant is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Security Manager to lead and oversee our industrial security program while serving as the organization's Primary Facility Security Officer (FSO). This dual-role position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable government regulations, mentoring and developing security staff, and supporting broader business operations to drive strategic and operational efficiency across the enterprise.

      The Security Manager must have an understanding of the National Industrial Security Manual (NISPOM) and will take ownership for the development, implementation, and maintenance of security procedures as required by the department, the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), and the Department of Defense Central Adjudication Facility (DODCAF). Perform duties in accordance with security standards that apply to Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) as outlined in Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, Intelligence Community Policy Guidance, IC Tech Spec-for ICD/ICS 705, and DoD Manual 5105.21 Volume 1-3.

      Responsibilities:

      • Serve as the FSO in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), overseeing all aspects of personnel, physical, and information security
      • Manage security operations for multiple cleared facilities and CAGE codes, including compliance, inspections, investigations, and safeguarding protocols
      • Administer and maintain security systems such as DISS, e-QIP, NISS, and NBIS, ensuring accurate and timely processing of clearances and visit requests
      • Lead self-inspections, DCSA SVA readiness, and implementation of mitigation strategies for identified vulnerabilities
      • Mentor and guide security team members, providing training, performance feedback, and career development support
      • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Insider Threat Program documentation, and security education materials
      • Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional departments to align security initiatives with strategic business objectives
      • Contribute to business operations through resource planning, process improvement, and cost control initiatives
      • Lead or support Change Condition submissions, FOCI assessments, and joint use/co-use coordination
      • Serve as a security advisor to program managers, facility personnel, and key stakeholders
      • Support Chief Security Officer in a Deputy capacity when necessary

      Qualifications

      • Active in-scope TS/SCI and willing to take a polygraph
      • Eligible for SAP program access
      • Current FSO certification for possessing facilities
      • Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years' experience in security field
      • Experience managing Insider Threat Programs
      • Strong working knowledge of DISS, e-QIP, NISS, NBIS, and other platforms
      • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
      • Strong interpersonal skills, work independently and the ability to work with a team, possess a positive attitude to do what it takes to meet the mission.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
      • Willing to travel up to 25% in support of SVA activities
