- Write reports of daily activities.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees and visitors.
- Call police or fire department in case of emergency.
- Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Able to answer phones and transfer calls to appropriate person/company.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a security officer or guard (preferred).
- State security license or certification (if required).
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Able to read, speak and write in English.

Position Summary: We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of integrity, good observation skills, and the ability to respond quickly to potential threats or incidents. This is a NIGHT SHIFT position. Must be available from 6pm - 6 am.
