      Get to Know Your Team:

      • Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.

      Responsibilities

      • Provide personal, equipment, and property security for assigned areas.
      • Provide information, directions, and escort service as needed.
      • Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

      Qualifications

      Job Requirements:

      • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
      • Completed security guard training through an approved agency Level I and II or obtained within 6 months of hire.

      • Required to wear Body Armor, taser, baton, and handcuff-associated gear while on duty.
      • Less than one year experience in general security
      • To drive a Lovelace-owned vehicle you must possess a valid NM driver’s license on your person no DUI/DWI within the last five years

      Preferred Job Requirements:

      • 1 year security experience
      • Hospital environment
      • CPR Certification
