We are looking to hire full-time Security Officers in Amsterdam, NY.

The pay rate for the position is $17.00 per hour. Reliable transportation is needed as public transit schedules may not align with work schedules. The hours for these positions are 1500-2300 (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) and 2300-0700 (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM). The specific days of the week can be discussed further during the interview.

Job Duties: • Control access to the warehouse, allowing trailer trucks in and out of the facility. • Log transactions of incoming and outgoing vehicles via handwritten paperwork. • Ensure that all security protocols are followed during the entry and exit process. • Sit in the main office, allowing authorized personnel to enter the building. • Monitor CCTV cameras and maintain a secure environment. • Maintain a visitor log and ensure all visitors are properly signed in and out. Responsibilities: • Ensure the security of the premises by following proper access control procedures. • Write clear and concise reports on activities and incidents. • Communicate with warehouse and office staff to ensure smooth operations. • Provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff. Skills and Qualifications: • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage paperwork. • Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle difficult situations. • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. • Prior security experience is preferred, but not required.
