- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
- Assist in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and reporting any unusual activities or security-related incidents.
- Collaborate with team members and other personnel to address potential risks and enhance overall protective measures.
- Engage with individuals on-site to provide assistance and information as needed, fostering a positive and secure atmosphere.
- Must possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Must have a California Weapons Permit with a 9mm Caliber Endorsement.
- Must have a CA Armed Security Professional License.
- Must have 1+ years of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Telecom in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more.
As a Patrol Armed Officer in the dynamic Tech/Media/Telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves engaging with individuals in a professional manner while carrying out armed duties, including the use of handcuffs, pepper spray, sidearm, and baton as necessary. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always prioritizing people and acting with integrity. This position requires a California Weapons Permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement and a minimum of one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
