Job Description

The security officer will provide services as assigned. He/She will patrol hospital buildings and premises to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and intruders and monitor the conduct of visitors on hospital premises. He/She will also confront unauthorized persons for questioning as needed and report safety and/or fire hazards or security violations

Requirements

Candidates must have a High School Diploma/GED, CPR training, a New York State Security Guard 8 and 16 hour Certifications with state ID card. A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and able to produce a DMV abstract is also required. Candidates will also need to the F-01 Fireguard license. Minimum of one year experience working as a security guard in healthcare is required.
