      Requirements

      * High School Graduate or GED

      * Valid New York State Driver's License

      * New York State Security License

      * FDNY Certificate of Fitness (Fire Guard License)

      * BasIc Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)

      * Ability to write clear and concise report

      * Ability to perform basic computer operations

      Job Description

      The Security Officer protects patients, staff and visitors of The Brooklyn Hospital Center from trespass, fire and vandalism. The position identifies persons entering the Hospital. Regulates crowds, directs traffic and preserves law and order throughout the Hospital. Ensure all hospital and departmental policies are adhered to, as well as ensuring customer satisfaction.
