- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Provide customer service to clients, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the educational environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as required, and helping to maintain a secure environment for the campus community.
- Support Allied Universal and campus staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing assistance as directed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at an educational location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will be a reliable presence, responding to situations as they arise and communicating clearly with all individuals on site.
