Position Summary
• Responsible for providing protection and security for hospital building and grounds, employees, patients and visitors.

Education
• High School diploma or equivalent

Licenses and Certification
• IAHSS- Certified Healthcare Security Officer, CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)-Certified Instructor, or State of Illinois Basic Security Officer Certification required within 6 months of hiring.

Experience and Skills
• Technical Experience: N/A
• Lead: 1 year

Role Specific Responsibilities
• Tours buildings and grounds.
• Prepares daily reports and signs log sheets.
• Maintains building security.
• Assists with helicopter transfers.
• Lead: Assists with scheduling and documentation.
• Lead: Assists with training and education of security staff.
• Lead: Assists security supervisor with management duties.
• Lead: Attend meetings as assigned by Security Manager.

Compensation (Commensurate with experience):

$17.57 - $26.36
