Security Officer
Full-Time
evenings (3pm - 11pm)
Overview:
Serves as a resource for information and direction; responds to urgent and emergent situations; performs patrol functions and security checks throughout the campus; reports, investigates and documents incidents; controls internal and external traffic; enforces rules and regulations to ensure and maintain a safe and orderly facility.
Qualifications
To qualify candidates must have an 8 and 16 hour New York State Security Guard Certification and Licensure. At least 2 years of experience in Hospital Security is preferred. The ability to investigate, report and document is essential, as well as the ability to traverese the campus to complete security checks and respond to urgent/emergent situations. The successful candidate must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree strongly desired, F-89 or T-89 certification highly Desireable.
Other Requirements
Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, running and climbing stairs, as well as lifting moderate weight of up to 50 lbs. #LI-OnsitePay Range - Minimum
USD $30.30/Hr.Pay Range - Maximum
