      Security Officer

      Part Time Days 7:30a-8:00p

      JOB DESCRIPTION

      We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team at Baptist Health Hardin. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to maintain a safe secure environment within the healthcare facility. You will conduct regular patrols, monitor surveillance, respond to emergencies, and facilitate conflict resolution

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Reports out-of-the ordinary activity in and around the hospital/grounds

      • Respond to security and safety related emergencies

      • Conducts investigations and completes reports

      • Provides security escorts as needed

      • Excellent customer service toward patients, families, and employees

      REQUIREMENTS

      • High School diploma or equivalent

      • Valid KY driver's license with satisfactory driving record defined by BHH policy is required

      • Good organizational, oral and written communication skills

      • Basic computer skills

      • Ability to work well with others and present a professional appearance

      PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

      • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field

      • International Assoc for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) certification preferred
