The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring that the highest level of safety, security and service standards are maintained at all times to protect the residents, employees, and visitors, as well as the assets of our community, minor emergency maintenance functions and other required duties. The Security Officer will be a first responder along with the nursing staff in response to all emergency medical situations, which may require performing CPR and/or First Aid as needed for residents and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school or GED
• One year security experience is required.
• Must have a valid driver license.
• Must have or obtain within 30 days of hire proof of CPR, First Aid certification and Arizona DPS unarmed guard certification.
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in English and make rational decisions in critical situations
