      Security Officers ensure the safety of staff, patients, and visitors by patrolling, responding to emergencies, and monitoring security systems.

      Remuneration: $58,691.8 per annum
      Hours Per Week: 38
      Location: Cumberland Hospital.

      Where you'll be working

      • Western Sydney Local Health District
      • Cumberland Hospital Campus
      • Working with multidisciplinary teams
      • Responding to security needs across hospital facilities.

      What you'll be doing

      • Conduct regular patrols and monitor CCTV and alarms.
      • Respond to emergencies and security incidents.
      • Collaborate with hospital staff, emergency services, and stakeholders.
      • Operate security vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety protocols.

      Essential Criteria:

      • Qualification: Current Senior First Aid Certificate

      Selection Criteria:

      1. Licensed according to the Security Industry Act 1997 Current NSW Security Licence Class 1A.
      2. Current Senior First Aid Certificate
      3. Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia.
      4. Demonstrate intermediate level computer operating skills e.g. through experience with contemporary electronic security alarm monitoring systems (Access building control, CCTV surveillance, data entry, and Radio communications).
      5. Customer service skills with a high degree of personal integrity and motivation and willingness and ability to carry out tasks of a physical nature as described in Job Demand List
      6. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, follow directions and work without close supervision.
      7. Sound communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution and report writing skills. Skills related to escalating a problem to the appropriate line of management.
