      Job Description

      As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Brunswick, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a strong presence. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, managing access control, and providing outstanding customer service. You will serve as a point of contact for visitors and staff, fostering trust through clear communication and a people-first approach.       What You'll Do:

      • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and executing emergency response activities when appropriate.
      • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while upholding professionalism.
      • Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
      • Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to appropriate personnel.
      • Interact with employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel in a courteous and professional manner while monitoring access points.
      • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and granting entry as directed by client protocols.
      • Stay alert to changes in the working environment and conditions, adapting security-related practices as necessary for the location.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
      • CPR certification is preferred.
      • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
      • A valid and current guard card or license is preferred.
      • Customer service experience is preferred.
      • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
      • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
      • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
      • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
      • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
