      Job Description

      United Security Services, Inc. is seeking qualified and experienced security professionals to join our team for a North Brunswick, NJ area.

      We are seeking applicants with at least two years of verifiable security experience and are able to commute to the designated area. Applicants must be comfortable with this physical aspect of the job and able to remain alert and active throughout their shifts, as mobility is an absolute requirement. This role demands a proactive approach to security, with the ability to adapt to the dynamic environment of a large-scale event.

      In addition to security experience, both a New Jersey State SORA License and a NJS Driver’s License are an absolute must as well.

      Position Requirements:

      • SORA License required
      • NJS Driver’s License
      • High School Diploma or GED
      • Flexible availability
      • Minimum of 2 years of verifiable security experience
      • Must be able to stand, patrol, and work outdoors as needed
      • Must be able to pass a drug screening

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests and attendees
      • Follow access control procedures as directed
      • Patrol event areas for unusual, dangerous, or illegal activity and unauthorized individuals
      • Maintain exceptional communication, hospitality, and interpersonal skills
      • Conduct security checks and follow post orders as directed
      • Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
      • Follow emergency action plans and established safety procedures
      • Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
