Maintaining awareness of evolving threats, trends, and technologies
Assisting in information security risk assessment activities
In possession of or working towards: SANS GIAC GCLD / GCDA / GCIA, Comptia CySa+, or other comparable cyber security certification
Strong ability to listen and adapt to constant streams of information
Solid understanding of Cybersecurity concepts
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Strong written communication and presentation design skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively
A strong work ethic, a desire for continuous improvement and a commitment to excellence
GoC Security Clearance (Reliability at a minimum)
Performing technical troubleshooting and Security analysis of incidents
Identifying and recommending threat containment and eradication actions
- 5-year employment verification;

The Security Operations Centre Intern will get to work with a world-class team responsible for reactive and proactive security, support the business, and serve a support role in the performance of a number of security capabilities that includes: vulnerability management, penetration testing / vulnerability assessments (internally and client-facing), application security, security operations engineering, and firewall advisory, security incident management, and cybersecurity tooling.
