Job Description

- Security Investigations / Reports security violations and disseminates information to support staff
- Responsible for tracking internal and supply chain controlled substance movement
- Inventory Audits/ Assisting in all transfers of controlled substances
- Prepares incident reports and maintains security tracking logs, security documents and key records.
- Has knowledge of the operations of a central command center, policies and procedures used to validate, process and track access credentials of authorized persons to ensure a safe work environment at company facilities. Process security information and data for employment records, security clearances, property control, and access control.
- Associate Degree or college enrollment - Required
- Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) - Preferred
- 1 year or more in Security environment/industry. Completion of course in computer operation may be substituted for 6 months of specialized experience
- Knowledge of the operation of a computer system and related electronic data collection equipment including the operation of ANSOC console. - Advanced
- Knowledge of electronic software procedures and terminology. - Advanced
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and/or written directions. - Advanced
- Ability to read and interpret written material accurately. - Advanced
- New York State Security Guard License -Upon Hire-Required
Description:
In the Amneal National Security Operations Center (ANSOC), the Security Operator administers, coordinates, and evaluates security programs that support the strategy, policies, and standards established for the physical safety of all visitors and employees to the organizations facilities and the security of property and assets. Compiles data and analyzes results of access control, inspections, daily logs, and identify the need for additional resources. May coordinate or assist with investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law enforcement and other officials. The Security Specialist is also responsible for all controlled substance tracking in all Amneal Facilities.

The hourly base salary for this position ranges from $21.00 to $28.00. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
