Job Description

As a Security Professional - Corporate Campus Location in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. This post requires driving as part of your duties. Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents within the location, which may include office spaces, technology labs, or media production areas.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding site rules and procedures.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security experience.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state or local regulations.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet AU Driver Policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
