- Greet and assist students, staff, and visitors at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence in the educational environment.
- Carry out security procedures and follow site-specific policies related to access control and visitor management.
- Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of visitors, incidents, and other front desk activities.
- Communicate with campus personnel and emergency responders as needed during security-related incidents.
- Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including providing information and guidance to building occupants.
- Must have at least 2 years of security experience.
- Supervisory experience is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A valid guard card or security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a Security Professional - Education Site Patrol in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .
As a Front Desk professional in an educational setting, you will be stationed at a primary entry point, greeting visitors and assisting with inquiries while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service to students, staff, and guests. You will communicate clearly and work collaboratively with your team, reflecting our values of reliability, agility, and integrity. Your presence at the front desk helps create a welcoming and orderly environment for everyone at the location.
