  Job Description

  As a Security Professional - Mall Patrol in Salinas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

  As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. This is primarily a driving post, requiring you to conduct routine vehicle patrols and interact with tenants and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

  Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions depending on the location.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the property.
  • Support emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities when necessary.

  Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license in the state of employment is required.
  • A valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements is required.
  • California Guard Card is preferred.
  • A valid guard card/license is preferred.
  • This position primarily involves driving and prior driving experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
