  Job Description

  As a Security Professional - Warehouse Site - Part Time in Hopewell Junction, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

  As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a tech-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with your team and upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Your role is essential in supporting a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all employees and visitors.

  Position Type: Part Time

  Pay Rate: $19.62 / Hour

  Job Schedule:

  DayTimeFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

  Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents.
  • Document and communicate any security-related incidents or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.

  Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • New York Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles and 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
