      At Securiguard your hard work is recognized and rewarded! Currently seeking to hire and place a Security Supervisor at our site in Alliston, Ontario. The candidate must be able to commit to commuting to the job site in Alliston. This position is a permanent full-time position.

      As a Security Supervisor, you'll lead a dedicated team responsible for safeguarding our facility, ensuring the protection of clients, and assets. This is a great opportunity for those looking to advance their career in security and law enforcement.


      Requirements:

      • Minimum of 2-year Security Supervisory experience preferably in government building, high profile sites, healthcare etc.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
      • Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certificate
      • Police Foundations, Community Justice Services or Law Enforcement Diploma would be an asset.
      • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.

      Responsibilities:

      • Directly supervise a team of security officers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
      • Oversee & become proficient in all other security posts such as Mobile, Communications Center, Gatehouses (shipping, receiving, access control) and Plant Reception/Patrol
      • Ensure that all Security guards are properly uniformed and equipped.
      • Establish and maintain effective liaison with the Manager of Security Operations, Assistant Manager, Communications Centre Supervisor, and Trailer Control Supervisor, and develop a good working relationship with the Security workforce.
      • Establishes work daily work schedules, ensuring that all shift vacancies are filled utilizing available work force.
      • Prepares, and submits shift reports, employee evaluations, incident and other reports.
      • Assist with conducting Performance evaluation of all members of a large security force.
      • Effectively manage emergency situation.
      • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance and professionalism.
      • Monitor surveillance systems, alarm systems, and access control systems to detect and prevent security breaches.
      • Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders as necessary to address security incidents effectively.
      • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

      Pay - $20.74

      Schedule : 2 Weeks of Days, 2 Weeks of Nights (continental); 0800-2000/2000-0800
