- Availability to work a flexible schedule that would include mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- At least 1-2year previous hotel Security experience.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Passion in providing memorable experiences for customers.
- Be at least 21yrs of age.
- Patrol the interior of and the perimeter of the hotel and the property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions.
- Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and/or property.
- Promote safe work practices.
- Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed.
- Writes reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Assist with parking area oversight, including directing traffic.

The iconic DoubleTree San Jose property is currently seeking a career-oriented Security Supervisor to join the security team. If you have a passion for security and want to make sure your guests and fellow team members or staying and working in safe environment, this is the position for you!
Our property boasts 505 guest rooms and 45,000+ sq. ft. of banquet/meeting space and is located with minutes of the International Airport, and within 5 miles of downtown and all its attractions.

As a Security Supervisor, you would be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
