      Security Technology Officer

      Location:
      Sydney Haymarket - full time on-site (5 days per week in the Security Technology Hub, unless out at SNSW locations to support Security Technology work)

      Salary range: $90,767 - $103,729 plus 11.5% Super

      About the team
      This role sits within the SNSW Security Technology team and as part of the wider SNSW Safety & Security Team, under Operational Risk & Compliance.

      The role operates evolving security technology systems to support the security preparedness and response to incidents in any of the 100+ sites across NSW; including Service Centres, Contact Centres and Middle Offices. The role provides expert guidance and technical expertise in implementing and operating evolving security technology systems to protect organisational assets, facilities, and resources effectively.

      This role would suit someone who has a passion for Security Technology and security in general! There is a requirement for demonstrated security industry experience, including a NSW Security License Class IE and 2C at minimum.

      Your day-to-day
      •Work with amazing team members in the Security Tech Team, monitor the electronic security systems (CCTV, alarms and access control systems) and support the incredible Incident & Emergency Management team with real time security information to protect our people and organizational resources.
      •Work with our internal customers, stakeholders and vendors to ensure the good working order and monitoring of all security technology systems.
      •Think outside the square and look for new opportunities to improve access to and operation of the security technology systems.
      •Keep your knowledge of security technology systems up to date, including operating practices, safety & security policies and procedures to support the resolution of issues.
      •Be a champion at responding to reactive maintenance requirements and support the continuous uplift of systems through uplift programs and initiatives to enhance security efficiency and effectiveness.

      To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
      •Values aligned with the organizational values
      •A keen sense of responsibility to support our internal customers across Service NSW, namely our frontline teams
      •Experience with electronic security systems (Access Control/CCTV) and control room
      •Demonstrated security industry experience in a security technology role, a security operations centre and/or a frontline service environment security control room.

      Essential Requirement:

      •Demonstrated security industry experience

      •NSW Security License Class IE and 2C at minimum. Please ensure the license details, including current status and expiry date, are clearly listed in your resume.
