      Primary Responsibilities:

      The Cleans Equipment Engineer opportunity is in a high-volume semiconductor wafer manufacturing environment.

      Prior experience with ownership and responsibility for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and productivity of manufacturing tools and or processes is required.

      General Responsibilities:

      • Identifying and reducing sources of variation
      • Reducing machine faults
      • Reducing defectivity
      • Defining and writing tool maintenance procedures
      • Improving tool availability and throughput and availability
      • Reducing Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF)
      • Working with and training technicians and peers
      • Improving cost performance
      • Specifying, sourcing and qualifying new equipment and parts
      • Participating and/or leading cross functional teams
      • Supporting development and transfer activities.
      • Implementing zero defect processes
      • Defining tool qualification procedures
      • Developing and writing specifications
      • Reducing cycle time and scrap
      • Qualifying process and equipment
      • Supporting development or transfer activities.
      • Implementation of Six-Sigma statistical process control methods
      • Capacity planning and modeling

      Job Qualifications:

      • BS Degree or higher in engineering or science
      • 3+ years of industry experience of equipment engineering experience in a semiconductor Fab
      • Experience is preferred with Cleans semiconductor equipment on one or more of the following platforms: SCP9400, GAMA, SEMITOOL SST, SAT, RADR/MILLENIUM, Screen WS820-L, Screen SS-80B, SS-80-EX.
      • Strong problem-solving skills.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
      • Self-motivated; able to take initiative and effectively prioritize work.
      • A desire to work in a team environment and to create a positive work environment.
      • Ability to deal with multiple issues and shifting priorities.
      • Knowledge of and experience using Lean Manufacturing methods is desirable
