Job Description

- Establish and consistently develop the effectiveness of assessors, trainers, coaches, and care advocates to ensure that all endorsed Send Network planters take part in all aspects of the Send Network Pathway.
- Success will be measured by the percentage of planters going through the Send Network Pathway and the quality of the leaders serving as Pathway Directors and volunteers.
- Build an effective City Team consisting of Pathway Directors and local pastors/planters while maintaining a quality Planter Pathway consisting of assessment (where applicable), training, coaching, and care.
- Incorporate Lead Pastor(s) to the City Team to better implement the Send Network Values into the Send Network Pathway.
- Success will be measured by having quality Pathway Directors, cooperative restoration efforts happening in your city, increasing multiplication capacity of churches (such as new residency programs, Multiplication Pipeline implemented, planters coming from within, etc.) and growing sense of “family” (75% of planters participate in at least 2 care events, stories of support and encouragement of each other, etc.).
- Work with city lead pastor to establish rhythms that promote and imbed the Send Network values of family, multiplication, and restoration
- Mobilize the determined amount by RD of new church planters or apprentices in your city.
- Success will be measured by meeting the numeric goal of new church planters and apprentice mobilized.
- Identify and invest in those church plants and churches that exhibit the desire and potential of being a Multiplying Church.
- Effectively administrate all Send Network systems and guide church planter candidates through Send Network systems in a life-giving manner.
- Mobilize an adequate number of new and existing partners to support the church planting activity in your city.
- Success will be measured by having an average of 2 supporting and 1 sending partner for every plant.
- Mobilize new church partners sufficient for the number of planters in your city as either Sending or Supporting utilizing Catch the Vision Tours or other strategies appropriate for your context.
- Connect with each Sending Church at least quarterly to ensure partnership going well. Call each supporting church at least annually to evaluate the partnership with the church plant.
- Oversee and ensure proper use of NAMB-owned missionary housing properties.
- Effectively steward assigned city and travel/operations budgets.
- Other duties as assigned by the Regional Director.

JOB CONTEXT
Send Network mission is to partner with churches to plant churches everywhere for everyone. The Send City Missionary position identifies and stablishes partnerships with local churches.
JOB SUMMARY
The Send City Missionary is an active member of a Send Network church responsible for implementation of the city strategy that results in new life-giving churches being planted. This includes mobilization of both churches and missionaries for church planting in the Send City.

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or four or more years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
