      Senior Accountant, 100% Remote

      Senior Accountant: We are seeking an analytical, self-motivated individual to join our dynamic finance team. This individual will gain hands-on experience supporting various financial reporting and technical accounting functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in financial reporting and technical accounting within a fast-paced environment.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, supporting schedules and other reporting requirements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. This includes preparing materials for quarterly lender call and presentation.
      • Monthly Accounting: Support the monthly closing process with a focus on, but not limited to, accounting for legal contingencies, lease accounting, intangible assets, share-based compensation, equity, and other complex transactions.
      • Acquisition Accounting: Assist with the accounting for the company’s acquisitions as needed. This includes reviewing transaction agreements, coordinating valuations and purchase price allocations, working on opening balance sheets, and drafting necessary disclosures.
      • Valuation: Coordinate and assist with the execution of annual impairment assessments and equity valuation work.
      • Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the company’s quarterly reviews and annual audit requirements.
      • Accounting Policy & Research: Research and interpret new accounting pronouncements and technical items as necessary. Assess their impact to the company and assist in the implementing any resulting policy, process and accounting changes.
      • Technical Accounting Memos: Draft technical accounting memos in connection with the annual audit as needed, addressing transactions and items throughout the year.
      • Ad Hoc Projects: Lead and support team members with various ad-hoc projects and reporting needs.

      Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience

      • Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
      • CPA and 5+ years of public accounting or related industry experience preferred.
      • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
      • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
      • Experience with Workday Adaptive and Oracle Essbase a plus, but not required.

      • Experience using various technology platforms to drive effective decisions, such as Workday Adaptive and Oracle Essbase

      The anticipated annual base salary for this position in the US is $89,000 to $97,000 This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
