- Collaborate with accounting leadership on SEC reporting and technical accounting research.
- Support the month-end close process with a strong understanding of internal control concepts.
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, promptly resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with accounting for share-based compensation arrangements.
- Research and assess technical accounting matters and disclosure requirements for complex transactions.
- Monitor and assist with the implementation of new accounting standards.
- Draft SEC financial reports and coordinate support for tie-outs.
- Prepare and/or review SOX documentation.
- Respond to internal and external audit requests during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Undertake other job-related functions, special ad hoc requests, and projects as assigned.
- Proficiency in SOX, SEC reporting, reconciliation, and technical accounting.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and NetSuite.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and financial statement preparation.
- Understanding of internal controls and fixed asset accounting.
- CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 5+ years of professional experience.
- Big 4 experience is highly preferred.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical abilities.
- Customer-oriented mindset.
- Experience with inventory accounting and general ledger management.
