Senior Accountant
Location: Catoosa, OK
Pay: $75k+ annually | Schedule: Day Shift | Type: Direct Hire
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage core accounting functions with precision and efficiency. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will efficiently manage all accounting transactions, reconcile sub-ledger accounts to general ledger balances, and prepare accurate financial statements on schedule. Key duties include conducting monthly reviews of the balance sheet, income statement, and budget variances, as well as performing risk assessments and evaluating internal controls.
Additional responsibilities include managing monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, reconciling accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely bank payments while maintaining proper cash flow management. The role also requires computing taxes, preparing tax returns in compliance with regulations, and generating reports on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
The Senior Accountant will audit financial documents for accuracy, maintain data confidentiality, perform regular database backups, and ensure compliance with all applicable financial policies and standards.
