- Maintain and review spreadsheets for intercompany cost sharing and allocations
- Post and verify entries in SAP (FI/CO modules preferred)
- Reconcile and support multiple ledgers and entities
- Handle quarterly and year-end close activities, including accruals and tax support schedules
- Work with domestic and international teams to resolve accounting issues
- Assist with audit support, process improvements, and ad-hoc tasks
- Back up other team members when needed (e.g., cash accounting functions)
- Must have SAP experience (FI & CO modules ideally)
- Quick learner, strong initiative — should be able to ramp up with minimal guidance
- Doesn’t need handholding; proactive and independent
- Experience working across multiple legal entities and ledgers is a big plus
- Background in automation, streamlining, and process improvement is a plus
- CPA not required
- Familiarity with tax-related accounting is helpful
- Will be supporting a team — not working solo. It’s a task-based environment, not full ownership of entities
- Some ad-hoc tasks will come up
Job Title: Senior Accountant
Office Location: Charlotte, NC, 28280 Hybrid – 3 days onsite (your choice), 2 days remote
Duration: 06+ month (High likelihood of extension or Permanent)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Extremely flexible — you can start early and leave early to avoid traffic
Interview: 1st interview over Virtual and 2nd Onsite.
Pay Rate: 45/Hr on W2
Job Description:
We’re hiring a Senior Accountant to join a collaborative accounting team. This role focuses on accurate financial reporting across 14 legal entities using SAP, with an emphasis on intercompany transactions and quarterly closes. You’ll also help improve accounting processes and support audits.
The right candidate is detail-oriented, independent, and a strong communicator who can work across teams and adapt quickly.
