- Preparation of month-end close and financial reporting schedules.
- Assist in the accurate and timely preparation, documentation, and submission of the Company’s SEC filings, including related disclosure support and formal tie-out procedures.
- Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit, including preparation of audit support documentation.
- Complete work related to technical accounting topics such as stock compensation, debt, derivatives, ASC 842 leases, and acquisitions and divestitures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance with reporting requirements and to support business operations.
- Conduct technical accounting research and contribute to ad-hoc projects and continuous process improvements.
- Maintain internal controls over financial reporting in compliance with SOX requirements.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Proven technical accounting expertise in stock compensation, debt, derivatives, ASC 842 leases, and acquisitions and divestitures.
- Proficiency with financial reporting systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience or a combination of accounting and industry experience related to reporting and monthly close processes.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work product.
- Highly effective planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with various teams across the organization.
- Experience with GL systems and ability to navigate large data sets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Reports to the Director of Technical Accounting and Reporting. Operates in a highly collaborative, remote workplace environment. Expected to exercise sound judgment and initiative in the execution of responsibilities.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Financial Reporting, Senior will be a key contributor within the Corporate Finance organization. This position will have primary responsibility for supporting financial reporting duties and be responsible for various technical accounting tasks during month-end close. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, organized, thorough, and focused on continuous improvement.
