      experience. Our Unique Loom brand of rugs is sold not only on our websites www.esalerugs.com and

      www.rugs.com which receive on average 30,000 visitors per day, but through our retail partnerships and

      Showrooms.


      Unique Loom is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support the month end close process

      and ensure accounts are reconciled timely and accurately in accordance with relevant accounting

      standards. Produce error-free accounting reports and present results.

      This position will report to our Accounting Manager.


      Responsibilities:

      • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengtheninternal controls
      • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
      • Produce error-free accounting reports and present results
      • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
      • Spot opportunities and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
      • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
      • Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
      • Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
      • Assist with tax audits and tax returns
      • Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
      • Review accounting staff’s work
      • Support month-end and year-end close process
      • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
      • Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedules and lease schedules
      • Record, review and reconcile COGS inventory ledger and the inventory system
      • Analyze trends in allowances for damaged inventory, returns and accounts receivable
      • Review cash account reconciliations
      • Assist accounting manager with compiling SOP documentation and verification of completeness of compliance efforts.
      • Respond to any reasonable task as business requires or as assigned by Executive management


      Requirements

      • 5+ years of accounting experience
      • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
      • GAAP Required
      • Inventory accounting preferred
      • CPA preferred
      • Netsuite experience strongly preferred
      • Microsoft Office, Excel proficiency required
