The CRC Accounting Department is seeking to fill a Senior Accountant position to support our North operations. This position is located in Bakersfield, CA and is eligible for a hybrid work-from-home schedule.
The base annual salary for this posted position is reasonably expected to range from $95K - 115K, with a target annual bonus of 10% of base salary. Your actual level and base salary, however, will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Responsibilities
• Support month-end closing process

• Assist with JIB cost analysis, net profit interest statements, payouts, and allocations.
• Prepare month-end journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
• Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits including preparation of deliverables and answering questions from auditors
• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports and roll-forward schedules
• Conduct monthly intercompany activity review
• As needed, aid in other areas of financial and operating reportingQualifications
Required qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting preferred
• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrate proactive attitude, showing and taking initiative
• Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management, operations, and external owners.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines and interact effectively in a team environmentPreferred qualifications
• Experience with Joint Venture Accounting/JIB
• Experience with Oracle
• Experience with SAP
