      Job Description

      • Coordinate the Financial Control and Management Reporting for the Americas region
      • Challenge yourself to work across a diverse portfolio
      • Full time permanent position, located at our Los Angeles corporate office
      • Salary range between $75,000 - $110,000USD

      As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the Financial Control and Management Reporting for the Americas region, including the United States and Canada. In this pivotal role, you will manage a variety of accounting functions, such as tax compliance, general ledger management, reconciliations, and forecasting. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will work closely with various business units across Qantas to ensure accurate, high-quality financial reporting and data presentation. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our financial processes and outcomes.

      What you'll bring to the role:

      • 5+ years' experience in an accounting position
      • Relevant qualification in finance or accounting
      • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office products
      • Experience in financial practices surrounding Credit Card Procedures
      • Demonstrated ability to deliver strong customer service results within a complex business environment
      • Sound analytical skills with the ability to escalate as required
      • Highly developed communication and influencing skills at both internally and externally
