- Facilitate the month-end close process
- Record general ledger journal entries
- Respond to management requests for information
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations
- Post payroll to the general ledger and conduct reviews of payroll activity
- Perform financial statement analysis
- Provide financial information for other departments
- Prepare bank ACH/wire transfers
- Prepare support for annual financial statement audit
- Assist with creation, implementation, and documentation of internal controls and key processes
- Work collaboratively with other departments
- Participate on the Material Review Board as a representative from the Finance department
- Act as Purchasing Card Administrator for the Pcard program
- Assist in resolution of various Receivable and Payable issues as necessary
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

We are looking for a detail-oriented senior accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. The senior accountant's responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.
To be successful as a senior accountant, you should have a solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial analysis skills. An outstanding senior accountant should also possess Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision and perform under pressure.
salary: $95,000 - $105,000 per year
