POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Accountant is responsible for financial reporting, account reconciliations, and fixed asset management. This role supports budgeting, tax compliance, internal controls (including J-SOX), and cash management. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Essential areas of knowledge include accounting, computer systems, business law and taxes. - Responsible for month-end reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. - Responsible for the monthly preparation of financial reports for management and submission of monthly reports electronically to the parent company. - Responsible for management of the company’s fixed asset records, including monthly reconciliation of the general ledger to the company’s fixed asset software package. - Participate in the Budget Planning Process and use of Financial Planning and Analysis software. - Work with outside auditors on the evaluation of annual financial statements. - Assist Corporate Controller with cash management review, including bank reconciliations. - Support company initiatives with regards to J-SOX compliance. - Perform state and local tax analysis and assist Corporate Controller and Chief Financial Officer in coordinating federal tax returns with parent company’s corporate tax department throughout the year. - Provide reliable information and advice to management for decision-making. - Communicate effectively with management and staff. - Understand the company business and computer systems thoroughly and use these effectively to enhance the performance of the company. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION The candidate for this position must have a bachelor’s degree with an Accounting or similar concentration, and at least 5 years of accounting experience. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: The candidate for this position must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Products, general ERP understanding and basic database knowledge. REASONING ABILITY: The candidate for this position must be attentive to detail and possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. The candidate must have the ability to deal with problems, questions, or issues by gathering facts and communicating effectively with others in order to reach a reasonable solution.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
