- Training and providing daily supervision of staff accountants accounting specialists accounting technicians and accounting interns.
- Reviews recorded journal entries and monthly financial statements identifying unusual or significant variances to ensure financial statements are fairly stated.
- Completion of accounting areas that are more complex or judgmental in nature with oversight from the Controller or Director of Finance.
- Position is responsible for special projects as assigned

Job Description
The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s Hospital is seeking a Senior Accountant who coordinates, implements, and oversees the entities complex accounting activities including; journal entries, financial statements, fixed assets, account reconciliations, compliance with GAAP accounting, financial reporting requirements, and assistance with budget process. Must have Bachelors degree and 3-5 years experience. Grant or research experience preferred.
