Senior Accountant

San Bruno, CA $32-36/hr; Contract, Full Time; On-site; Manufacturing

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Peninsula-based manufacturing client is seeking a temporary Senior Accountant to provide general accounting support for retail and commercial real estate operations. This is a fully on-site opportunity, with an hourly pay rate between $32-$36/hour, depending upon relevant experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze accounts, do journal entries, and perform financial reporting responsibilities as needed to support the month/quarter/year-end close process
• Reconcile leases and produce financial statements for properties as needed
• Assist with monthly variance analyses
• Maintain the accuracy of product budgets and depreciation forecasts as needed
• Create and maintain the lease accounting schedule
• Other duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or related field
• 4+ years of experience in accounting/finance or related field required
• Experience using Workday software highly preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience using Excel (entry to mid-level)
