      Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant will collaborate with multiple departments to perform needed financial functions. In this role, the individual is responsible for capital expenditures, monthly reconciliations and analysis of financial statements. Further, this role is responsible for reviewing reconciliation performed by staff accountants and training of new hires to the team.

      Location: Worthington, OH ( can be hybrid with a minimum of 2 days office work)
      General Functions:
      • Managing capital expenditures and process improvement
      • Complex monthly journal entries
      • Monthly bank and account reconciliations
      • Detailed account analysis (ability to review accounts and suggest accrual amounts)
      • Responding to information request
      • Meeting processing and reporting deadlines
      • Assist with audit requests
      • Assisting with month-end close
      • Sublessee invoicing u00A0
      • Daily cash balancing u00A0
      • Authoring accounting policies
      • Managing ACH and wire requests
      • Reviewing and scheduling work for staff accountants
      • New hire training, onboarding, and mentoring

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
      Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 5-yearsu2019 experience in Accounting. A Bacheloru2019s degree in accounting is required. Experience in the healthcare and/or veterinary industry is a plus but not required. In addition, this position requires:
