- Req#: 1571102
- Complete quarterly and annual NAIC filings, ensuring compliance with NAIC and other regulatory requirements. Entities cover various combinations of members across single and / or multiple states and combinations of Marketplace (ACA), Medicare, and Medicaid lines of business.
- Prepare various supplemental pages and schedules. Coordinate collection of data from internal partners for quarterly and annual submission of additional required pages and schedules.
- Work closely with internal partners and external auditors to complete annual legal entity external audits.
- Prepare MD&A’s including year-over-year variance analysis reporting.
- Generate and record Statutory entries to the general ledger for assigned entities. Additional consolidated entries covering all entities may be assigned.
- Assist on DOI examinations as needed, preparing draft responses to inquiries.
- Assist on department projects as needed (to include continuous process improvement).
- Develop positive liaisons with team managers and staff and support various business partners (Treasury, Tax, GAAP reporting etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in public accounting or healthcare industry.
- Statutory accounting/reporting experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills preferred.
