- Lead and execute clean-up initiatives within the accounts payable function.
- Design, document, and implement new SOPs to streamline AP workflows.
- Accurately process high volumes of invoices and manage check runs.
- Oversee timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Supervise and support a small team in addressing AP backlogs.
- Utilize Yardi software for invoice processing and financial tracking.
- 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, including full-cycle AP and reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of invoice processing, purchase orders, and check runs.
- Proficiency with Yardi or similar accounting/ERP systems.
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring a team.
- Proven ability to implement process improvements and SOPs.
- Experience managing AP clean-up projects or backlog resolution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to lead the clean-up and optimization of our accounts payable operations. This is a hands-on role that combines day-to-day processing with strategic improvements, including the development and implementation of new standard operating procedures (SOPs). You’ll play a key role in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in our financial processes.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
