      Job Description

      As a Senior Adult Counselor at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose will be to provide a multitude of essential functions to effectively oversee the duties of the position within the Program. These functions include -- but are not limited to -- conducting pre-admission and behavioral assessments and diagnoses, determining client suitability for agency programs, planning and implementing psychological therapeutic and counseling processes to aid individuals with single or multiple diagnoses, utilizing counseling methods, techniques and modalities of the program to provide therapeutic treatment, constantly assessing the client's progress and condition, referring groups of clients and families dealing with substance abuse and mental health issues to support services, completing required documentation and reports and providing services under the parameters of the designated program within the prescribed settings. Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.

      Requirements

      Ability to receive and maintain a(n)

      • Level II Background clearance
      • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
      • Master degree in a human services field
