      What role you will play in our team

      • Serving as a core member of the Global Issues & Advocacy team, the Senior Advisor of Third-Party Strategy and Collaboration will support the creation of a Stakeholder Engagement Function at ExxonMobil to facilitate lasting relationships that advance the company’s advocacy and communications goals
      • The position reports to ExxonMobil’s Head of Stakeholder Relations and will closely collaborate with the Global Issues & Advocacy team, business lines, corporate functions, and broader Public & Government Affairs colleagues
      • This role will be based at Washington, DC

      What you will do

      • Identifying, prioritizing, and building key third-party partnerships on ExxonMobil’s advocacy priorities and business goals
      • Identifying and developing projects and platforms for external engagements
      • Oversight and day-to-day management of digital tools to enable smoother internal and external coordination of third-party engagement
      • Developing stakeholder engagement plans and execution roadmaps
      • Mapping relationships and opportunities to amplify ExxonMobil’s technologies and policy solutions
      • Maintaining effective vendor relationships
      • Project management, schedule coordination, and engagement tracking

      About you

      Skills and Qualifications

      The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience and proven success in the following areas:

      • Deep knowledge of/passion for the energy and sustainability ecosystem and corresponding third parties, including think tanks, advocacy groups, eNGOs, donors, thought leaders, etc.
      • Existing relationships with key third-parties, particularly those based in Washington, D.C.
      • Existing knowledge of effective CRM and/or data management tools
      • Developing concise written communications
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
      • Intellectual curiosity, and ability to gather, assess, and synthesize information from various sources
      • Ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment and manage complex projects with competing deadlines and priorities
      • A passion for creating collaborative environments and integrating systems and tools that enable strategic, coordinated decision-making
      • Ability to work in ExxonMobil’s Washington, D.C. office

      Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

      • General understanding of the energy industry, energy transition, and corresponding third-party ecosystem, including think tanks, advocacy groups, eNGOs, donors, thought leaders, etc.
      • A passion for creating collaborative environments and integrating systems and tools that enable strategic, coordinated decision-making
