      Toyota Financial Services is looking for highly motivated Senior Analysts for various open roles across our analytics teams . The primary focus of the Senior Analyst will be to support data-driven decision s through the acquisition and analysis of data and the effective communication of actionable insights . Successful candidates will be curio u s , resourceful, and take initiative to solve complex problems in order to make a tangible impact within the organization and grow their careers within Analytics @ TFS.

      W hat you'll be doing

      • Uncover business needs to properly frame your analysis .

      • Leverage SQL/Python/R skills to acquire and organize data .

      • D iscover insights through data exploration, quantitative analysis, and creative problem solving .

      • Develop solutions to address the opportunities uncovered within your analysis.

      • Assess the quantitative and qualitative impacts of possible outcomes .

      • Influence decision making through effective verbal presentation, written communication, and intuitive data visualizations.

      • Coordinate with stakeholders to help implement and monitor recommended actions .

      • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization .

      • Become a subject matter expert within your department by developing a comprehensive understanding of its strategies, processes, policies, and data .

      • Continuously improve your analytical, communication, and people skills .

      C urrent open ings

      Senior Analyst , Consumer Risk Originations

      • The Consumer Risk Originations team is responsible for supporting loan and lease risk strategy, operations strategies, and communications . This team works closely with upstream and downstream stakeholders to ensure optimal solutions and strategies are executed.

      • This role will spearhead the development of origination analyses and data-driven risk strategies for consumer portfolios, utilizing both internal and external data sources. Additionally, it will identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and enhance the efficiency of loan and lease application processes.

      Analyst, Data Analysis

      • Leverage technical skills, business knowledge, and problem-solving skills to provide analytical insights and reporting to help the business make better data-driven decisions

      • Provide value by answering business questions and drive efficiency gains with a focus on the following areas: Servicing, Voluntary Protection Products, Sales, Legal and Compliance, Accounting, Risk, Fraud, and other areas.

      Senior Analyst, VPP (Insurance) Analytics

      • Toyota Financial Services offers a suite of ancillary products for automotive, marine, and powersports that we call Voluntary Protection Products (VPP) such as warranty, service agreements and GAP insurance plans . The insurance (VPP) Analytics team is responsible for leveraging data to drive sales performance, optimize product profitability and manage risk associated with this portfolio.

      • This role will support the product lifecycle by developing analytical framework to assess profitability and claim behavior, review product segment trends and use that to provide data driven recommendations to business unit. Skills this role needs are data exploration, quantitative analytics, visual story-telling and ability to summarize complex data and findings in a succinct way to key stakeholders for actionable decision making.

      What you ’ll bring

      • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering , Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field .

      • 3+ y ear s of relevant professional work experience ( paid, non-academic, non-intern) .

      • High p roficiency and professional experience coding in SQL, Python and/or R (tested during interviews) .

      • High proficiency and professional experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau .

      • High proficiency and professional experience with data acquisition, data manipulation, data cleaning.

      • High proficiency and professional experience identifying trends and indicators through quantitative and qualitative analysis.

      • Proficiency with statistics and predictive modelling techniques.

      • Comfort with presenting ideas virtually or in-person to audiences of various sizes .

      • Ability to collaborate effectively with others as well as work independently while in a hybrid work environment.

      Added bonus if you have

      • MBA or advanced degree in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering , Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field .

      • Professional work e xperience in a uto f inan cing, c onsumer l ending and/or financial institutions.

      • Professional work e xperience in consumer credit risk, business analytics, finance and/or pricing roles.
