      The Senior Analyst – Asset Management position will serve as a key resource for analyzing data and taking ownership of strategic portfolio assignments. The individuals who comprise the team work in a collaborative manner to ensure the highest level of accuracy, and timeliness.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Develop and update forecasting models and budgets including cashflow analyses for existing portfolio utilizing both ARGUS and excel
      • Work closely with the portfolio management team to contribute to standard monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packages
      • Assist with in preparing asset management reporting
      • Lead the monthly variance to budget reporting process and generate monthly, quarterly and annual portfolio performance reports
      • Analyze commercial portfolio operations, business plans, capital investments, and sales & marketing plans in order to identify and implement operational cost savings and revenue maximization strategies across the portfolio
      • Contribute to the preparation of annual property budgets for assigned properties with input from property management and operations teams
      • Contribute to the further development and improvement of existing reporting and data efficiencies tools
      • Review and manage capital plans and budgets from the properties and track long-term capital budgets
      • Review, understand, and ensure compliance with all major documentation impacting the assets including, loan agreements, management agreements, contracts and major leases.
      • Work closely with portfolio leadership to identify challenges and execute timely and effective solutions
      • Keep informed of industry trends – both macro and micro – and form opinions on how such trends may impact the commercial portfolio
      • Perform ad-hoc analyses and produce deliverables for all verticals of the commercial portfolio
      • Travel to the properties, as necessary to meet with management teams
      • Perform other duties as assigned

      Compensation:

      $100,000 - $110,000 + Discretionary Bonus

      Qualifications

      • Minimum of 1-3 years related work experience in commercial real estate, preferably with an owner, lender, manager, agency or real estate consulting group.
      • BS/BA degree required.
      • Argus experience preferred.
      • Basic knowledge of finance, operations and accounting principles in commercial real estate, with a willingness to learn; commercial office or retail knowledge is a plus.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
      • Strong written and oral communication skills
      • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
      • Demonstrated eagerness to learn contribute, and grow within the team
      • Ability to collaborate effectively with property management, portfolio leadership and ownership teams
      • A diplomatic and assertive approach, coupled with self-motivation
      • Curiosity and a willingness to explore new approaches and solutions
