      Job Description

      Within the Client portfolio management team, you will work closely with the Client Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Managers on the Investment Team, supporting the management of client relationships and providing investment information in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be capable of gathering information from various sources, including internal investment systems, research analysts, portfolio management teams and various databases. The overall objective of the client portfolio analyst group is to assist in providing our clients with best-in-class client service on a consistent basis.

      Role and Responsibilities

      • Provide exceptional client service

      • Maintain a strong understanding of iA Global Asset Management client base, investment process and strategies

      • Support the Client Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Managers in investment content production

      • Participate in development and on-going maintenance of investment materials: marketing presentations, portfolio commentary, fact sheets, due diligence material, marketing communications, etc.

      • Perform quality control - contribution, edition, and revision of content

      • Liaise with the Fund Oversight and Management team, Sales, Product and Marketing Teams to support clients servicing with performance and strategy update data

      • Support investment material dissemination and marketing calendar management

      • Support and coordinate the monthly and quarterly portfolio commentary process

      • Update investment databases and respond to consultants’ DDQ and prospects’ RFP/RFI

      • Manage the investment materials hub

      • Participate in adhoc projects and activities

      • Support in the organization and coordination of the investment team’s marketing events

      Qualifications and Skills

      • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, actuarial science, or relevant discipline

      • Minimum 3 years’ experience in capital markets and investment industry

      • CFA designation or registration

      • Excellent command of French and English (oral and written) for frequent interaction with internal French- and English-speaking colleagues or partners across Canada

      • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities

      • Strong MS Office suite experience

      • Investment database experience (asset)

      • Institutional asset management experience (asset)

      • Team player, autonomous, and time management skills

      • Analytical, critical thinker and attention to detail

      • Strong organizational skills with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

      • Customer service skills

      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
