      The Sr. Analyst, Corporate Finance & Strategy, plays a critical role in driving enterprise value through complex modeling, forecasting, and reporting as well as ad hoc analysis on key business initiatives for Coinstar. This role couples excellent attention to detail with demonstrated problem solving, strategic and analytical skills to ensure enterprise-level success.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Develop, implement, and maintain financial analyses and models to optimize business performance
      • Develop and improve existing operational tools and KPI reporting to link financial plans to operational goals
      • Provide research and analysis to guide capital planning process and new business development
      • Participate in cross-functional teams and build relationships with key internal clients and business partners to influence decision making company-wide, with initial focus on Operations
      • Amplify efficiency by simplifying reporting and modeling

      Education & Experience

      • 5+ years of finance or analytics experience; preferably in a consulting or corporate environment
      • Experience in consumer products, retail, or financial services is a plus
      • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

      Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

      • Highly motivated with a strong intellectual curiosity and love of solving challenging business problems
      • Strong Excel skills including building financial and sensitivity models, pivot tables, and other advanced functions as well as a variety of charts and graphs to represent analytical results
      • Experience with data mining and visualization tools such as Tableau; SQL experience a plus
      • Adept at learning new software and analysis methods
      • Comfort with managing very large data sets and performing analysis to distill and draw out insights
      • High attention to detail.
      • Strong organizational skills to manage tasks and adapt to changing priorities
      • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written, verbal, and remote communications
      • Solid understanding of GAAP basics & Financial Statements

      Job Location & Business Travel

      • This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Bellevue, WA. Work from home arrangements are welcome within the Greater Seattle area.
      • Position requires little to no travel

      Pay and Benefits

      For this role, new hires generally start between $100,952 - $126,189. For Washington State or jurisdictions that require the publication of salary ranges, the base salary range for this position is $100,952 - $151,427. Coinstar utilizes geographically based pay ranges, within the United States, which allows us to pay competitively and consistently based on location. Within the range for the applicable geographic area, individual pay is determined by several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share the salary range specific to your location. Short-Term bonus incentives are a part of the total compensation package and are based on Company and Individual performance.

      Physical Requirements

      Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse, and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
