      Purpose:

      The Senior Analyst of Data and Analytics is responsible for developing and supporting business intelligence solutions, which includes understanding the needs of business stakeholders and translating those needs into enterprise reporting and analytics, with attention to internal compliance controls always a top priority.

      Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar field of study (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)
      • 4+ years of development experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
      • A solid understanding of key analytics and business intelligence trends
      • Experience in data modeling concepts (e.g. Star Schema and Data Vault)
      • Advanced experience with at least one DB platform (e.g., SQL Server, DB2, Oracle or AS400/IBM iSeries) and hands-on experience writing complex SQL and PL/SQL.
      • Experience with at least one ETL platform (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Informatica, DBT)
      • Experience with Cognos Analytics is a plus.
      • Added advantage using cloud computing to build analytics applications in Azure.
      • Excellent communication, problem solving and data analysis skills.
      • Experience with Agile development methodology is a plus.

      WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL & ENVIRONMENT):

      • Role may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week

      PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS

      Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
