- Unleash the power of data and provide insights and analysis to strategy and initiative work to grow and move business forward
- Develop, modernize and transform Business Intelligence solutions and analytical dashboards for Individual Wealth & Insurance Solutions and Advisory Network to communicate insights and drive informed decisions
- Work closely with data and tech partners to transform high level business requirements into measurable solutions and develop best practices for the rest of the Finance business intelligence team
- Work with business partners, including senior leaders to understand their needs and develop meaningful tools to help them run their business.
- Challenge status quo and independently identify the appropriate analytic approach to meet reporting and analysis needs
- Work in a small and fast paced team and act as technical lead for bigger team
- A creative mindset focused on innovation and the ability to utilize and implement best practices, as well as creating new ways of working that ensure reliable development and operations
- 7+ years experience in business analysis or technology development
- Extensive knowledge and working experience of Power BI, certifications such as PL300 from Microsoft is strong asset
- Strong understanding of data visualization, data modelling and reporting
- Good working knowledge of Databricks (SQL), Power Platform and other data analytical tools is an asset
- Proven ability to develop and maintain collaborative business relationships; ability to communicate technical information to business users
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in business or computer science or an equivalent combination of training and experience

The Sr. Analyst, Data & Analytics role will work in a small but data savvy development team to transform the way we develop business intelligence and insights. You will be responsible for using modern tools and techniques to develop and communicate insights that will drive effective and informed decisions, and working closely with data and tech partners to transform high level business requirements into measurable data solutions and develop best practices for the rest of the business intelligence team.
