      About the role

      We have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance Development team in Boots UK. In this role, you will be pivotal in the ongoing delivery of business change projects, both independently and as part of a larger team.

      When delivering less complex, discrete projects you will have full ownership of all the activities below. Within larger projects you will be supporting the Finance Managers with process design, mapping, sign off, testing and other business readiness activities.

      About the opportunity:
      • Driving continuous improvement within Finance related systems and processes across the business, identifying and analysing opportunities, and supporting the business to develop the business case for change.
      • Ownership or support with the design, testing and implementation of projects, including business readiness activities, bringing efficiency and greater controls to financial processes.
      • Supporting business project team members in the standard management processes and templates required to satisfy Agile and Unified/Waterfall project methodology – including business process mapping, user acceptance testing, internal controls, RAID assessments, project planning, financial reviews and benefits realisation.
      • Managing relationships with key stakeholders and project teams; ensuring high levels of engagement and delivery to ensure fit for purpose solutions and maximum benefits with minimum impact to business as usual activities.

      Hybrid working:

      We currently operate a fixed hybrid working approach for Support Office team members with a mix of remote and office-based working. Our set office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with team members able to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

      What you’ll need to have
      • Proactive, independent and self-starting individual who is adept at building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
      • Emotionally resilient with the capacity to stay energised and focused within project environment
      • Experienced in Finance processes and SAP Financial Modules
      • Excellent communication, organisational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks through managing priorities and workload
      • Excellent attention to detail with a “Right First Time” approach in order to deliver best in class outputs

      It would be great if you also have
      • Experience of cross functional Agile/Waterfall project delivery in any capacity
